The Southern African Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (SALCOC), on behalf of the Embassy of Lebanon, in partnership with the Phoencians and Cedars Golf Clubs, presents the South African-Lebanese Open Golf Championship 2024.

Join us at 11:00am on Sunday, 19 May 2024 at the Wanderers Golf Club.

Booking Deadline: 30 players only (first come first serve basis).

  • PLAYING DIVISIONS FOR CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHIES:
  • A Division: H.I. 6.3 and lower. Individual Medal (Best Nett) and Individual Medal (Best Gross). Yellow (Championship) markers.
  • B Division: H.I. 6.4 to 13.8. Individual Points Stableford. White (Club) markers.
  • C Division: H.I. 13.9 and higher. Individual Points Stableford. White (Club) markers.
  • COMPETITION FORMAT:
  • Players qualify to play for their divisions according to their current HNA Handicap Index (H.I.): Division A (H.I. 6.3 and lower), Division B (H.I. 6.4 to 13.8), Division C (H.I. 13.9 and higher)
  • Players to tee off their respective markers: A Division – Yellow. B and C Division – White. “Seniors” (65 years and older) option to tee off on Blue (Forward) markers with the adjusted handicap. Ladies option to tee off on Red markers
  • Only players of Lebanese Heritage (or married to those of Lebanese heritage) with official affiliated Handicaps may compete for the Championship Trophies
  • Players under the age of 18 to be invited
  • Professional golfers of Lebanese heritage will be invited (to be hosted by SALCOC on a non-competing basis)
  • Best Guest prize – Individual Points Stableford
